Arriving in Paris Monday morning and planning on heading straight to the French Open. Haven't had any luck getting tickets yet. Been warned about buying tickets on the black market. Any suggestions?

You can purchase tickets from the ticket resale site Viagogo. Viagogo is an official partner of the French Open so the tickets are legit: http://www.viagogo.fr/rolandgarros

I just tried at viagogo and got all the way through the ticket booking screens to where it asked for my credit card and then I canceled it out. Of course, I may not have been trying for what you are trying for.
