I am looking for suggestions and insight on the smaller barge tours in France where boats accommodate approx 20 passengers, not the large boats that hold 150. I have recently traveled through SE France through Burgundy & Provence and am interested in the region West of Paris on the Loire or near Bordeaux this time. Any suggestions for the barge tours and route?

Carrie Check out this website. www.bargeladycruises.com. I don't have any experience with it but I have heard her speak as she is based in Chicago. Seems to have barges at several price points. Hope this helps. Bobbie
