Freiburg to Colmar via Basel with French / German pass?

Hello! We are headed to the Black Forest and Colmar. We're planning on purchasing a France / Germany railpass. However, Freiburg to Colmar is via Basel. Does anyone know if we will have to pay a supplement to pass through Switzerland? I thought I read that there are exceptions to "border towns"? Thanks in advance!

You may not need nor want a railpass - what train trips are you planning to make? (from where to where, and when?)

Basel Badischer Bahnhof is inside Basel, Switzerland, but is a border station for a German Rail pass. I don't think that Eurail recognizes border stations; they want you to add a country. At least the don't show "border" stations as a benefit of Germany on their website. . . . . ¶ I don't know if Basel SNCF (French Rail station) is a border station for French Rail or for Eurail. It's right next to Basel SBB (Swiss Rail station). If Basel SNCF and Basel Bad are border stations for a Eurail pass, you will still have to get from Basel Bad to Basel SNCF. There is a streetcar (~3,20 CHF) from Basel Bad to Basel SBB. See www.bvb.ch. . . . . ¶ There are buses from Freiburg to Colmar, but of course these are not covered by a Eurail pass, either. (Aren't Eurail passes great?)
