Hoping to spend a Friday night in Freiburg in October to experience their Saturday morning market. Any suggestions for a good hotel in town?

We stayed here in 2010 and thought it was excellent. Right in the middle of the pedestrian zone, less than five minute walk from the cathedral and the market surrounding it, very nice, clean, newly renovated, decent prices, great breakfast. We had a two bedroom family suite on the top floor. The top floor also has a guest library and the hotel lends free videos to guests. Not that I stayed in to watch any! It was also an easy walk from the train station even with our luggage (carry-on only of course) Hotel am Rathaus Rathausgasse 4-8, D-79098 Freiburg im Breisgau
