Hello, My husband and I will be traveling with our two teens to Germany this summer. We would like to stay several nights in Freiburg, using it as a base to day trip to Strasbourg, Colmar and Europapark. Can anyone recommend accommodation for a family of four on a budget? The city's website, freiburg.de, lists all the hotels, pensions, guest houses, etc. Click 'tourism' and then 'nights.' One of my kids did a study abroad program in Freiburg and loved the city ... good choice for a base.
