We have a 5 day, 3 country(Germany, France, Switzerland)---
Without going into a lot of detail, will it cost us a day of pass travel to travel "free" on the KD German Rhine Line boats? thanks---Melinda Symmes

From the Eurail website, www.eurail.com, "If you travel on a Eurail Global Pass, a Eurail Select Pass, a Eurail Regional Pass or a Eurail One Country Pass, you can only use a free benefit on a day which you fill in on your Pass (a Travel day)." Travel on the KD would be a "free" benefit. I have heard people claim that they were able to use their pass on a non-travel day, but I wouldn't count on it.
Reductions (%) can be obtained anytime during the validity period of the pass without using a day.
