Would anyone know whether one can rent a car at the Frankfurt train station.

I suppose this has been answered many times on here as well. Yes, of course you can rent a car at almost any train station. Sixt, Hertz, Europcar, Avis, Dollar, Budget, Advantage... they're all at the train station. And as mentioned before they add a 20% surcharge on your rental fee for any rental picked-up at a train station or airport. The downtown car rental pick-up stations that do not charge those extra 20% are usually only one or two underground stations further away...
