Hello. My aunt and I are traveling to Geneva, Switzerland for my nephew's bar mitzvah in late May. My cousin is a US soldier stationed in Germany, outside of Frankfurt, and we hope to visit him at the start of our trip for 2-3 days. We have a place to stay in Paris, courtesy of my brother who lives in Geneva, and we are excited to experience Paris for a few days between our Frankfurt and Geneva visits. I live in Portland, Oregon and my aunt lives in Los Angeles; we are hoping to fly together out of LAX to Frankfurt. Return trip from Geneva? Or should we consider LAX via Paris or even Frankfurt?
I am in need of suggestions on best ways to travel between these cities, and recommendations for where to stay in Frankfurt for two adults, as well as guidance for the rail passes vs. air fare.
