A friend and I are traveling to Frankfurt for 5 days starting November 1. We will probably take some day trips to outlying cities, but at night would love the scoop on some local watering holes that we just can't miss. We love dive bars with local flavor, places with games or something to do, nothing fancy.
Also, if there are any off-the-beaten-path sights we should see, I'd love to hear about them.

There are tons of places here. Sachsenhausen is the most popular. It is part of the "old town" and has lots of flavor with cobbled streets, half-timbered buildings and a statue of an old lady that spits water at you when you least expect it.. There are a lot of clubs too, from the kind with doormen picking out who can come in to the underground dance club that goes all night. Then there are the Irish Pubs, the Australian Sports Bar, and the coolest wine cellar you will ever see, down in an old bombing bunker. There is a lot to see in the daytime too, of course.
