We are going to frankfurt for three days. My finance will be going to the Formula one races for two of the three days. That leaves me two days on my own and one for the two of us. What should we do in Frankfurt or around the frankfurt area? Any day tours or nice spas? Thanks Sarah

Too many options to mention all of them: Rhine river gorge, Mosel river valley, Heidelberg and Schwetzingen palace, Kronberg castle, www.rheingau.de, Bad Homburg castle and town and nearby Saalburg castle (Ancient Roman), Lahn river valley with Limburg and Marburg old towns, all the museums of Frankfurt... Mainz, Wiesbaden...

absolutely do not miss the cathedral in Cologne. it is AMAZING!!!!!! well worth the trip. I promise, it will absolutely knock your socks off!
