We are interested in renting a car in Germany, and picking it up in Frankfurt. My research is showing a sizable savings by picking the car up at Interstrasse 38 rather than the airport location.
Does anyone know how far this location is from the airport and what type of transportation we can take there? I am traveling with my two elderly parents, so am considering a taxi. I just wonderered about cost and the ease of using this location.

You could go to maps.google.com and type in "Intzestrasse 38, Frankfurt, Germany". The resulting map will give you an idea of the relative distance from the airport (south of the city). Also, some car rental websites have a scalable map of each location, which allows you to zoom in or out. As far as getting to the car rental agency, what is your starting point? I assume the airport, but asking just to be certain.
I agree with the use of maps.google.com. I find it very helpful for distances and driving times for domestic travel as well as foreign travel.
Sandi, as a reference, two weeks ago we took the taxi a couple of times from the airport to our Hotel downtown next to the Hauptbanoff rail staion. It cost EU $22 each time.
