Here is a listing of what will be operating during tomorrow's transportation strike in France. In a nutshell: Air France is protecting it's long haul flights. Expect 30% of flights out of CDG to Europe or domestic cancelled. 50% out of Orly. Eurorstar runs as normal. Other trains are running as little as 1 in 5, or as high as 8 in 10. RER A is running 1 in 2 trains, other lines are 1 in 3. Metro 1, 11 & 14 run as normal. Line 6 is 3 out of 4, Line 3, 4, 8 & 13 running 2 out of 3 and lines 2, 5, 7, 9, 10 & 12 are at 50%. Buses are 3 out of 4. I was watching the news tonight, and of course, they gave different numbers on how many trains were running. About the only one I remember was only 1 in 5 for the RER B line. They did say that people with reservations should contact SNCF or TGV directly by phone. Good luck! A few commentators are saying that they think support is growing and one of my neighbors is predicting a paralyzing strike within the month, but others are commenting on the lack of support. In other words - no one knows that is coming up.
Thanks for the info! We are supposed to be leaving France for Germany tomorrow the day of the strike. Is there any way to find out which trains will be going if all the website says is 66% to Germany? Thanks!!
