France's Museums Free for Under 25 in April: What's Included?

Several sites including this one have discussed how France will be letting under-25s in for free. I've searched for a list of these museums, but can't find one. Is there one available? Most sites are just saying The Louvre/Orsay & many others. Is there any way to tell which museums are "national" museums that will be free? The guidebook update just says "Starting April 4, 2009, admission to France's national museums and monuments is free for anyone under 25 years old."

Funny that I couldn't find any list!

The only details I could find are:
- 50 museums under direct state control;
- about another 100 national monuments, including l’Arc de triomphe, Versailles, Chambord and Fontainebleau castles, Mont-Saint-Michel, the Panthéon.

This doesn't fully answer your question but I hope it's a small step forward.

That's really funny. My wife just turned 25 this week and we're leaving for France in a couple weeks! She could pass for 16 though! Good luck finding out more info on this.

A couple links on the topic below. Sounds like the Prez hasn't followed up yet on the specifics.

The first says "free admission to all", but the second link says "free admission to French under 25."

Can't help with the monuments, but here is an official list of the museums operated by (or in cooperation with) the French Ministry of Culture.

Looks like the list corresponds pretty closely to the museums and monuments covered by the Paris Museum Pass... although I don't see the Arc de Triomphe or the tower of Notre Dame anywhere.
