France September 2011. Back Now Hi everyone. We are back from a glorious month in France and wanted to publically thank all who offered comments on our itinerary. We tried to incorporate as many of your suggestions as possible and they made for a wonderful trip. So: Ed, Betts, Ken, Susan, Bobbie and Nigel Thank you all again for your advice and help. Best food and food presentation we have ever seen. People were warm and friendly and very helpful. We rented a VW Golf diesel and drove almost 5000 Kms but didn't feel rushed. We hadn't realized France was such a beautiful country having only been to Paris, Versailles and Chartres previously. We will certainly be going back. Cheers

Steve, You're very welcome! It's great to hear that you had such a wonderful trip. I've found that France outside of Paris provides a somewhat different experience, so I can well understand your desire to go back. Cheers!
