Four mature women traveling in September

We are four sixtyish friends who want to do Eurail starting in Amsterdam for about 10 days, can we do Ger., Switz., Prague in that time reasonably, giving us two nights in each city we choose. And what cities do you recommend?

That depends on how much of Germany you want to "do", and how far you are going into Switzerland. You might consider cutting out Switzerland, going from Amsterdam over to Cologne, down to Munich, over to Linz, then to Prague. You really should get out a good map and plan your route, figure out the time of train travel, and where you are leaving from to come home.

What is Eurailing? Eurail and Rail Europe are travel agencies and not train companies. If you are asking about using the trains, go to bahn.de for schedules. The actual schedules for September will not be posted iuntil summer so just use the same day of the week for next month. Schedules change little from one period to another. Given the distances and time necessary for travel, you initial thoughts are not doable unless you want to spend most of your time on the trains. Consider open jaw - into Amsterdam and home from Prague or something like that so you don't waste time and money doubling back to your starting point.
