I am curious to read any comments about anyone forwarding on their luggage from one city in Switzerland and picking it up later in another city. Does it work as advertised? Did you experience any problems? Any helpful hints? I assume you can do it as often as necessary, as long as you are dropping off in/forwarding to one of the participating railway stations. Thanks

The only drawback is that unless you drop your bags off very early in the day, the luggage is typically not delivered to your destination until the next day. All the bags are sent to a central hub and then rerouted. For an additional fee you can also have you bags delivered direct to your hotel.

We used it several times and it works wonderfully well. We used the same day delivery service and I think we had to drop it off by 9:00 am (or close to that). We dropped in Muerren and picked it up in Zuerich.
