My friend and I will be traveling in the Netherlands and Belgium in mid April. We are interested in visitng a flower garden. Near Amsterdam we have learned of the Keukenhof Gardens but had also thought as an alternative to visit the Groot Bijgaarden near Brussels. Any thoughts? Thanks
In addition to the Keukenhof Gardens you should also consider Floraide 2012 gardens in Venlo Holland. It's a world's fair type event and it's only held once every 10 years at purpose built venue. For info here http://www.floriade.com/ .
Yup. No question. Keukenhof. Hands Down.
Groot Bijgaarden is the name of a town, not any special garden. It's best known for it's castle, which as I recall, does have a garden, but it's nothing compared to Keukenhof.
