Any updates on areas around Munich and Vienna? Are trains running, roads open? Will be in Munich and Vienna late August to early sept Thanks

There was never any significant flooding in Munich. Where there was flooding, the last remnants of the waters receded over a month and half ago. Ditto the roads, any closures have long since reopened. I'm not 100% certain about all the rail lines, but I believe all back up and running. Any closures now are probably due to routine maintenance.

There wasn't any flooding in Vienna, only in areas of Austria upriver. Those areas were cleaned up 1-2 weeks afterwards. All has been fine for some time now and you'd never know this happened just a few months ago.
