Does Gare de Lyon in Paris have an FNAC store where tickets for several museums can be purchased as well as other events?
Maureen,
You can get a museum pass at any museum which covers pretty much every museum you might want to visit and saves you from standing in lines. Do a websearch for Paris Museum Pass and you will find all kinds of information on it including where to purchase. Do the same search here and you will find there is a lot of past advice on where it is easiest and quickest to purchase it. Doing so will really maximize the amount of time you have since pass holders can bypass the lines.
You can find all the FNAC stores with ticket windows here: http://ch.fnacspectacles.com/listePointVenteEdito.do
As previous poster mentioned, you may want to consider museum pass purchases here:
There's an FNAC store on the Champs Elysees, on the right side as you're walking up to the Arch de Triomphe.
I don't know if they sell the tickets you are looking for, but I have to give a shout-out to their helpful staff. In 2003, when I got some film developed there, I left my wallet on the counter. When I finally realized it was gone, I ran back, figuring it was lost.
But as I walked in the door, the clerks recognized me, and waved me over. They had my wallet, and their security personnel were looking for me as well. I was pretty relieved, not to mention impressed with their service ethic, so I gotta give them a plug for saving me from my absentmindedness!
Thank you everyone for your help ...we are in Paris but not for 2 consecutive days and most of us just want to see a few museums on the same day so we thought the FNAC stores would sell what we need.
