My husband and I will be staying in Reims between 19 and 21 May 2010 and would like to take a day trip to the Verdun battlefields. Rick's book recommends battlefield historians Tony Noyes and Christina Holstein as personal tour guides, but for some reason I can't access the website Rick gives, and my e-mail doesn't go through. Does anyone know how to contact Tony or Christina, or know of another guide? I'm very puzzled that I can't access the site.

From the May 2009 edition of "Infantry Bugler," publication of the National Infantry Association comes this note....
"Tony Noyes, Florent Deludet and Christina Holstein are no longer acting as battlefield guides. The partnership of Tony and Teddy Noyes no longer exists."
I guess you'll have to search for another guide...:(

Thanks--I'm really sorry we can't use them, but at least I know what's going on. If anyone knows of another guide, I'd appreciate the information!
