Favorite fountains in Paris?

I am visiting Paris for the first time in July. I am surprised by the number of large fountains! Which fountains should I not miss? I don't care if it is not by a major attraction.

I stumbled upon Fontaine de l'Observatoire last night and it looks incredible!

All the fountains in the Place De Concorde,, they are just so "over the top",, I am not wild on the setting, all the traffic rolling around, but you have to admit they are something!

My favorite fountain is the one outside the Centre George Pompidou. So fun, and a great people-watching site too!

We luckily "stumbled upon" a lovely fountain at Sainte Sulplice... corner of Place St Sulplice and Rue Bonaparte in St Germain district. Nice place to sit and soak up the atmosphere

We love the St. Michel fountain - during the day and at night also.
Of course the fountains at Versailles are spectacular if you should go.

The Medici Fountain in the Luxembourg Jardin is a favorite of ours. Go there on a Sunday afternoon to see Parisiens taking advantage of what their wonderful city has to offer.

another vote for the fountain outside the Pompidou Center. But I went to see it for sentimental reasons; its featured on the opening shot of every episode of the old classroom French series "French in Action" and after seeing it on film many times I wanted to see it in real life.
