Liked this place a lot: http://www.qype.co.uk/place/27951-Hefner-Berlin Was next to my hotel (Pension Peters) near Savignyplatz in Charlotrenburg. It's not a far walk at all from the Banhof Zoo. Best part about it is that it was filled w/ locals from the neighborhood! If you end up there, enjoy!

Hi, I can recommend one.... Schwarzes Cafe on Kantstraße 148 in Berlin-Charlottenburg, a nice place with some privacy, decent prices. I can't say anything about the food, only went there for coffee. It's a popular place.
