Fat Tire Bike Tours

Has anyone been on the Fat Tire Bike tour of Monet's Garden?
How was it,,is it better to do on your own,,or does the bike tour add to what you could do on your own?
Thank you

I have done two Fat Tire Tours- Paris and Berlin. We rented our own bikes and road around Versailles ourselves. I really enjoyed the two tours we took though!

I am traveling to Europe to pick up my daughter from visiting our former neighbours. She will have only one day with me in Paris and is 10. I woud like to know if the evening tour on Fat Tire would be fun for us...I understand it includes a rive cruise, ice cream, etc....I thought with her having only one day in Paris this would be a quick and energetic way to see the city.

Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks

Christine - when are you going to Paris? My sisters and I are going the end of next month and have reservations for a night bike tour. Though I opted to reserve with bikeabouttours.com - they came recommended by a lady here as being smaller groups (10 or less). If its not too late, I'll let you know how it goes.

I have only taken the day tours with Fat Tire Tours (in Paris and Berlin). I traveled with my two children (11, 15 when in Paris, and then just this July and they are now 14 and 18). We love the bike tours. It is such a fun way to see the highlights of the towns.
