My husband, 3 boys, ages 13, 9 and 4, and myself will be visiting Paris for 3 nights and are looking for a place to stay in the city; ideally between $125-150, our max would be $200. I was looking into houseboats, but did not find many options. Also, my 9 and 4 yr. old usually sleep together.

Well, this isn't in the city, but it's definitely a houseboat on the Seine and i walk by it while walking the dog. Try www.homelidays.co.uk/la-frette-sur-seine/boat-212941 en 1.htm Thirty max minutes by train from Paris and then a 15 minute walk down the hill. Would be a good adventure. Other suggestion would be cross-pollinate apt rentals.

Thanks for the suggestion. The boat looks beautiful! Unfortunately the owner prefers only having children over 8 yrs. old.
