What is the best way for a family of five to get from CDG to central Paris (near Cluny/Sorbonne)? RER would seem the easiest, but with younger kids (elem school) and some luggage I am wondering if a shuttle or even a taxi might be easier or worth the extra money. Suggestions?
While the RER and metro are easy to use, with younger children and luggage I suggest that you take a taxi. There are minivan taxis in the ranks at CDG so you'll all be able to ride together.
With five of you it will be just as cheap to take a taxi anyways,, taxi will run between 45-55 euros,, RER will cost just as much for 5 of you . Taxi stand at airport will help you get a taxi for five.
