Hi, We are visiting France and Italy in the first 2 weeks of October. Is this a good time to see fall colors? What are the best places to go to specifically see fall foliage? Thanks

Hi Sridhar... France is lovely during October. The vineyards are beautiful as the grape leaves turn color.We love Burgundy in the area around the Burgundy canal. Provence in also nice at this time. We drive down to Burgundy from Paris and then drive to Provence. To see many of the little villages it is necessary to have a car.

I agree with Burgundy. Another spot would be the Auvergne.
