Hello. I am interested in visiting Eze, France If anyone can recommend some other places somewhat near Eze that are worth visiting I would appreciate it. I would like to construct an itinerary for about 10-14 days. Thank you very much in advance. I appreciate it. Greg

Hi, Greg. We were in this area during October 2010. We stayed in Cannes for four nights and explored the area. We visited Eze, St. Paul de Vence, Antibes, Monaco, La Turbie and Nice. There's lots to see and do and everything is relatively close together. At LaTurbie be sure to walk through the town cemetery to the edge of the cliff. From there you can look down and see the entire country of Monaco! Grasse is nearby and famous for its perfumes. Another area that's nice to drive through and not too far is Gorges du Verdon--kind of the Grand Canyon of France. Hope this helps. Have a great trip. I would go back right this minute if I could!

I expect that you are aware of this, but there are two places near each other called Eze. There is Eze-Bord-de-Mer which has a train station. There is also Eze-le-Village which can be reached by buses, one from Nice, one from Monaco (Beausoleil) and one from Eze-Bord-de-Mer which is a tiny van like bus which flies around the tight bends and steep drops like a skier. I think that one is maybe number 82, certainly in the 80's. Its a real experience. Eze-le-Village has a Petit Casino to obtain food, a tourist information across from it, and a Jardin Exotique to reward you for the climb at the top.
