I plan to be traveling in Northern Germany Frisian Islands late August. I am wondering whether it is best to travel in September rather than August due to the holiday?

If you do go in August, make all your reservations there really early, like months in advance. I'd go in August, simply because of the weather.

We usually travel in September on the theory that there's not much difference in weather late August vs early September, but things ought to be less crowded. On the other hand, are crowds a problem on the Frisian Islands?
