Eurolines overnight bus: good idea in France/Spain?

Looking to get from Bordeaux to Barcelona in Sept., and fastest and most direct way looks to be Eurolines bus overnight. Anyone have experience with this? It's cheap, but is it decent and comfortable? Thanks!
