Euro Train Question

We are planning our honeymoon in early October. Will fly into Madrid or Barcelona and travel along to coast thru France (don't really need to stop) we have great interest in Italy. Chinque Terre Florence Tuscany and Rome. Do we need a Euro Pass? Or I have read of a 'regional' pass? With all this wedding AND Honeymoon planning I thought my question could be answered quickly here. Thanks

If you're just travelling from Spain to Italy and have no need to stop in France, then fly. The train trip from Barcelona to Italy is about 16 hours long, with a couple of changes....a waste of a whole day, and expensive. You can fly from Barcelona or Madrid to Florence aboard Meridiana airlines (www.meridiana.it/en/index.aspx) for 66 Euro pp. The sooner you book, the cheaper the price, but make sure you are aware of the refund and booking change rules.
