We will be in Vienna on June 7th to June 10th when there is are Euro 2008 football games. Staying at the Pension Nossek. I assume transportation will be changed. Suggestions? It will be an interesting side to our four days in Vienna that we hadn't expected.

What do you mean by transportation will be changed?
If anything there will be more trains running. There will only be one match during your stay, on Sunday the 8th.

I meant that there probably would be additional trains, yes. But rerouted. Have you been there when a game is going on?

Nothing will be rerouted. The match on the 8th will be team Austria's first match vs Croatia. During the match expect Vienna to be a ghost town as literally the entire population will be watching the match. Should they win expect the craziest all-night street party you have ever seen:)

Wonder if shops and museums will close on the 8th or if everyone will watch/listen to it wherever they are. Will be interesting if they win.
