I am interested in information about the Etap hotels in and around Paris in April for my husband, myself and our 6 year old daughter. We are really trying to stay to a tight budget and see as much of France as possible in 12 days.

We've stayed at a couple of Etaps in Paris....one out near CDG (not really good for you) and another at Porte d'Italie ouest (West) on the south edge of Paris, just outside the peripherique. It's about a 10 minute walk from the Porte d'Italie metro station. We've found Etap hotels to be modern, clean and comfortable, albeit small.;...but at about 55 Euro/night for two adults and a child, it's hard to beat. Yes, you are a fair Metro ride from all the sights....but the savings can make it very worthwhile.
