In June I'll be spending 2 days in Epernay. Suggestions please for the best place to have lunch, the best local French cuisine possible? Thank you for any help!

In Epernay and within about 10km of Epernay (not including Reims) there are only two Michelin star restaurants, both have one Michelin star: Les Berceaux (1km from center of Epernay) and Hostellerie La Briqueterie (4.5km from Epernay). These will provide the best food on the plate, that was your request. Find info on each restaurant at www.viamichelin.com, click Restaurant tab, input Epernay, it will ask you which Epernay, select Red Guide selection, then array the resulting list by Distance.
