Environmental Sticker in Germany - driving Austrian rental car

In April I'm renting a car in Vienna, Austria and driving to Prague and then on to Germany. I'll be driving into Germany on Good Friday (a holiday, I assume?) and staying overnight Easter Sunday-Monday in Munich. My hotel is in central Munich, so I'm assuming I need an "Umwelt Plakette" (environmental sticker) to drive in and park in the hotel parking garage. I already verified with the Austrian car rental company, sixt.at, that they do not provide the sticker. My question: how the heck am I supposed to get a sticker on a holiday weekend? I won't know for sure what type of car the rental agency will give me until I pick it up, so ordering online ahead of time doesn't work. I emailed the Umwelt Plakette office but haven't received a response yet.
Any advice?

Would it help if I told you that no city really reinforces the Umwelt Plakette? They had to create those low respirable dust zones to follow EU legislation but it's simply too expensive to have people running around through town checking every single parked or running car.

Yes, that would help a lot. :) I wondered how they would know, especially if I just drove straight to the parking garage and left the car there until I leave. I won't cruise around town polluting. Thanks for the quick reply. mit freundlichen grüßen aus Wien
