Can the German issued Environmental Badge (German Umweltplakette) be used in Austria in place of the Austrian Environmental Badge (Austrian Umweltpickerl)? Do I need to purchase an Austrian Environmental Badge (Austrian Umweltpickerl) seperately for use in Salzburg with my car rented from Hertz in Germany? How much does an Austrian Environmental Badge (Austrian Umweltpickerl) cost? Where can I buy one? Do I request one from Hertz in Germany? Does Poland have and Environmental Badge? HELP!

We had the same issue a few years ago...if I recall, I called or emailed the rental car company and they had both stickers for us when we picked up our car. We picked up in Austria and dropped in Germany. Back then you definitely needed specific ones for Munich too if I'm remembering correctly :-))
