End of Spain/Morocco tour - help me choose

I'm taking the RS Spain/Morocco tour in 2010. It starts in Barcelona, ends in Seville. My dilemma - the tour ends on a Sunday morning in Seville. I live on W. Coast US. It appears that no flight or train will get me from Seville to an airport early enough to fly back to US the day the tour ends. This means I have to spend at least one extra day getting somewhere in Spain, or to another Europe airport, for the next day's morning flight to US.

Options include train or fly from Seville to Madrid (overnight Madrid, fly out a.m.); fly to Barcelona (overnight, fly out a.m.); fly to another Europe spot to stay the night and fly home in the morning (Amsterdam, London, Dublin, Lisbon are options). Any thoughts or alternatives I haven't thought of? What would you do? I hate to repeat cities, but cost is also an issue (with the extra travel, hotel, etc.). Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

American has a flight that leaves Seville at 10:25am and gets you in to Portland at 8:15 pm on Sundays. It has stops in Madrid and Dallas/Fort Worth. The Seville/Madrid leg is on Iberia but shows as a code share with American.

I know your dilemma - I struggle flying east from Spokane without going west to Seattle or Portland first.

The planes that I have flown on from Portland or SFO have flown basically the same route to A'Dam, Frankfurt and Israel. That was north over Hudson Bay (approx) then then the southern part of Greenland and over to Europe.

Have you found any good connections for your trip home from Seville?
I"m still looking.
