I'm taking my laptop (Lenovo), BlackBerry, and Sony digital camera with me to France on Saturday. Do these electronics need a converter for charging? I have adapters, but was told that as long as the charger says "100 to 240 Volts" I'm okay without a converter? Is that true? Thanks

You won't need a converter; as "100-240" means it can handle all voltages. You just need the adapter plugs.

I brought an adaptor and my laptop is working fine (as you can read:) It is cool here, BTW, all ladies wearing trench coats, hats, black pants/capris, sweaters/scarves and boots- not your current US summer weather...
It is truly fall in August in Paris. Don't forget an umbrella
