I think O Cebreiro would be about 100 miles from Santiago. There is another website that is a good guide for planning distances. http://www.godesalco.com/plan/frances I can't speak from experience. Hi Jane, I walked the Camino in 2010, most people that want to walk this part of the Camino start in Sarria, it is approximately 110 kilometers which will qualify you to receive your Compostela. For this distance you'll need to get 2 stamps a day in your Pilgrims Passport, which can be easily done at churches, alburgues, bars and restaurants. For people coming from North America I feel the best way to access the Camino is to fly into Madrid then take the train to their starting point, Santiago as an airport you can fly to Barcelona or take the train then fly onto Dublin.
