We would really prefer to catch the eiffel tower summit during sunset 940pm. We will be there May 22-25 (4 days) Just wonder what the wait times are like in may? Are weekdays better or does it not make a difference since in May. any tips on beating the lines? hike the stairs? hear sometimes the east entrance tower is shorter than the crowded north entrance...

The second floor is very nice and has wonderful views, but while you are there, see if the second floor ticket booth will sell you a ticket to the top. Then you just need to get in line with everyone else. That's how it works in the winter when they don't sell advance tickets to the top. I am not 100% sure if they work that way in May, but what the heck? Give it a try.
