I have tried 3 times to purchase tickets for the Eiffel Tower for 4, and have not heard a thing, yet I have charges pending on my account-twice. Have e-mailed them twice, and no response. Any suggestions, or other places to get tickets? Thanks, Linda

I had no problem buying the tickets online. All I can think of is perhaps you need to call your bank or card issuer and let them know that you are charging a foreign transaction. I ran into trouble buying TGV tickets online and SNCF locked my card out for 48 hours. I believe you can also purchase the ticket from the office of tourism in Paris. But they sold out quick, you may need to buy them days in advance. Remember though, if you plan on heading up to the summit, still budget at least 3 hours for the eiffel tower even with advance tickets. The problem is not getting to the second floor. The problem is the line to the summit and the line to come down. Took us 3 hours and 15 minutes total from the moment we went in on our advanced ticketed time.
