I can't seem to be able to make lunch reservations at 58 Tour Eiffel - do they not take them anymore? if not, what are the chances of being able to get in for lunch without a long wait?
No they don't take reservations for lunch. As for a long wait...depends on when you plan to go. Weekends are difficult....the summer is almost always a problem, too.
thanks - October weekday maybe?
Have you checked the reviews for that restaurant? Most of them are not very good. Apparently it is rather like a glorified fast food place with very run-of-the-mill food. We have not been there personally, although we have been to Jules Verne many years ago.
I had the same problem & ended up making an online lunch reservation at Jules Verne. Dedicated lift took us directly to the restaurant without any waiting (lines for regular lifts were blocks long). We had a table on the windows & a fabulous lunch. With dessert it came to 200 euro (two people) so definitely not cheap but we felt it was worth the price for over two hours of amazing views. Once in a lifetime experience. BTW, there was no line at the '58' kiosk window but have no idea if they had tables available.
That sounds good. Get there early enough, enjoy the view from the tower, then catch lunch on your way out.
