Eiffel Tower in late September

I've heard that several of the Eiffel Tower's elevators (lifts) are under repair or not working and the line is especially long. Does anyone know if this is still the case and whether there are long lines in September, regardless?

It is still not fixed. If you do book the tickets online and don't mind the set dates. Make sure you do it as early as possible. I counted 90 days before to book, as many others around the world probably do the same.
