Eiffel Tower

Has anyone eaten at the Eiffel Tower---thinking of going for our 1 year wedding anniversary and are we limited to that first floor restaurant or can we explore as the regular visitors do? Thanks

Bad food, high prices. Don't do it. Ever.

I've not eaten at the restaurant, but everyone I've known who has, said it was absolutely not worth the price. When we go, we stick to the bar part of Altitude 95 and have a couple glasses of Kir Royale and watch the sunset (and order dessert if we go later in the evening).

I think I just replied to your other post. Go to the restaurant I suggested (of course, after you do your own research and approve) and then walk over to the tower (it's very very close) and go up to the restaurant and have a nightcap and dessert. I agree with others that it is not worth the price to have a full dinner there. There are much better restaurants in Paris and you can get the view after dinner for minimal cost (financially and gastronomically). Have fun, we loved Paris and found it to be beaucoup romantic.
