Hello, Anyone tried the Eiffel Tower's guided toursBehind The Scenes tour or the Show tour with an actor? Am interested in either tour, but cannot find reviews on it. Thank you!
Annie, I recently did the "Eiffel Tower Exclusive Behind the Scenes Tour" offered by Get Your Guide (http://www.getyourguide.com/paris-l16/exclusive-behind-the-scenes-tour-at-the-eiffel-tower-t2669/) and it worked out just fine. There are several options to chose from depending on how much time you have and how much you want to pay. I did the 1 1/2 hour tour and enjoyed it very much. Hope you have a great time in Paris!
Thanks. The tour I'm looking at is directly on the Eiffel Tower website, not through Get Your Guide. But in comparing the two they look nearly identical, down to the tour times, except the Get Your Guide doesn't have child prices. Would they be the same tour except Get Your Guide is a type of booking agency?
And does the tour skip the lines?
We were looking at Viator tour /entry to skip lines to Eiffel tower. I will look at website for eiffel Tower.xt week. Any suggestion for best time of day to go -midday vs dusk or evening? Thanks Annette
Annie, the Get Your Guide tour did allow us to "skip the line". We toured the mechanical workings under the Eiffel Tower and then came up right at the front of the line for the elevator. I really just wanted the ticket to go up the Tower but the short tour was interesting too. Please note that the tour takes you to the second level, you need to purchase another ticket if you want to go to the summit. I've been to the top a couple of times and have some great photos - I'm sure you will too! Annette, any time is a good time. This year we did the Tower during the afternoon and then a boat ride on the Seine in the early evening to get photos of the Tower lighting up - fantastic.
