The 2009 Paris book mentions advanced ticket sales for the Eiffel Tower may begin in 2009. Anyone know if this has been implemented yet? Not finding anything on the net.
When I went to the official ET website back in January, it said the reservation scheme would be implemented in the fall of this year. But now the site doesn't mention it at all. Perhaps it's been put on hold????
I was there May 31st to June 4th. No advanced tickets.
According to the ticket information page on the Eiffel Tower's website, "END OF 2009: ONLINE RESERVATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL VISITORS"
So it seems like their target is to get it working before the new year, and be happy if it is working anytime before that. In other words, don't plan on it being available for the summer.
Thank you, Everyone.
Dawn, my wife and I were in Paris last May and simply went to the ET, stood in line for abour 15 minutes and climed the stairs to the first floor. no problem. Dorsey
I think it would be much nicer if they would just airlift me to the top. Think of how quick that would be and no loss of breath!
I'm telling, you it could work...;o)
Not yet. We went in May 2009. We were up in 20 mins.
Or if you take a tour through purple beam..i think its available on Wednesday and Saturdays only...fora little bit more you also get to miss the lines and get a guided tour.
I have an earlier post on this.
