Eiffel

I was looking into easypassparis.com, specifically the Eiffel Tower tour. I have already been told to buy tickets in advance and go right to the 2nd floor and from there take the elevator. Knowing this, does it still make sense to buy a tour though EasyPass? Does it gain me anything? It is 50 euros/pp Thanks!

Linda, I don't know about EasyPass, but will mention that you may have to buy your tickets further in advance than you might think if you are traveling during a busy period. We'll be in Paris in early July, and when I went to buy tickets a couple of weeks ago, found that there were NO advance purchase tickets left that would get us to the top of the Eiffel tower at any time for any day of our 5 day stay. Evidently they have a second class of tickets that gets you up to the 2nd level but not the top, but the only times left on those were for 10:00pm or later. Our hotel that we'll be staying at isn't too far from the Eiffel tower, one of our days we'll get there first thing in the morning when it opens and hazard the lines without having advance purchase tickets.
