Eating Latin Quarter

Does anyone have a favorite restaurant in the Latin Quarter? Thinking of our last evening in Paris - quiet and french cuisine. Was thinking of Le Florimond in the Rue Cler area. but would rather stay in the Latin Quarter if there is a good suggestion

La Montebello. The food is good, not spectacular, but you get a full view of the side of Notre Dame if you eat at the tables out front.

As i've said a few times we don't eat in the city that often because my husband works there and he prefers the meals at home at the end of the day/weekend...But..a restaurant we have liked is Le Pré Verre 8, rue Thenard, 75005 Paris...clossed sunday and monday...Menu less than 30 euros, a tiny bit "bizarre"...but really good for the 3 courses. I know some people don't like seeing a menu on the side in English, but why not?!!...DO NOT go for your last meal at the above mentioned!! It's an "eat and drink all you want", and not guiet nor cuisine.

@ Regina
What above mentioned? It's not clear what you are trying to say? Merci mille fois.

I think that Regina is saying that she doesn't recommend eating at "Nos Ancêtres les Gaulois" on Ile St. Louis--I agree with her! As she mentioned, it's an all you can eat and drink place that might be fun for some but not a relaxing "last night in Paris" dinner. I think that there are other very nice restaurants on Ile St. Louis that would be a good option!
