We are leaving for France next week and I just realized we will be in Normandy region (Bayeux) for Easter. Does anyone know of anything special going on that we shouldn't miss. Any suggestions and what do you think may be closed.

We flew into Paris last year on the Monday after Easter. We rented a car at CDG and drove around the city to go to Auxerre. There was very little traffic. If that was the case on Monday in Paris, I would think it would be similar in the outer areas. You should check some of the sites you want to see about being open on Easter and the days surrounding the holiday.

I visited the beaches on Easter Sunday and everything was open. The restaurants are very crowed however, reservations are a must.
