I'm kicking myself because I didn't check the calendar before I booked this trip. We got caught in the May 1st holiday in Paris on our last trip, and it was not enjoyable because of the massive crowds at many places.
What can we expect to find for Easter weekend? What places are closed, etc.?

Janis, that's an extra long weekend in Europe (Good Friday, Easter Monday)and there will most likely be loads of tour busses from all over Europe in addition to the regular crowds.

This is a question best answered by locals (and we don't have any Paris locals on this forum); but, as a very general statement, assume that there are more holidays closures than there would be in the US on the same holiday.
