I'm starting a month-long stay in Paris on Easter weekend (arriving 4/1/10). If you've been in Paris or Northern France over Easter, I'd appreciate your comments about crowds at the Easter Vigil or Easter Sunday masses at major churches (Notre Dame, Paris; Chartres; Amiens; Rouen; Reims). Would you suggest I look for a smaller church in Paris for masses, and if so, which ones? I'm staying in an apartment in the Fifth, not too far from Notre Dame. Thanks for your help.
